Go after 15-20 of the ones your site actually needs and you’ll be fine. Yoast SEO is the most popular plugin for blogger SEO. WP Smush is great for optimizing images and you’ll definitely want a quality caching plugin.

Keywords

If you don’t have repetitive words in your posts, how can search engines possibly know how to rank you? As a blogger, especially one new to the game, you’ll want to focus on longtail keywords.

The reason for this? Anyone who searches for “shoes” is going to be shown a results page with Nike, Reebok, and all of the major brands.

Promotion

As much as we love SEO, the most important hack is to keep creating amazing content and promoting it however you can.

Stay away from black hat tactics and don’t get greedy. It takes the average blogger at least six months to make their first dime, and another year or more to start generating a decent income.
