The Marbella Book Fair kicks off with sixteen stalls in La Alameda [1659]

The Marbella Book Fair has started this Friday, until August 16, with fifteen stalls in La Alameda. There will be 14 presentations and specific programming for children. The proclamation will take place on Tuesday, July 18, and will be given by Ana Eugenia Venegas Moreno, philologist, social educator, and writer.

There are sixteen participating bookstores, nine of them from Marbella:: Excalibur, RYL Comics, Bukmeran, Kon-Tiki Bookstore, Caracuel Bookstore, Delibros, Algorfa Editions, Alfaqueque Bookstore and Casa del Libro.

Other arrivals from other parts of Spain also have a stall in La Alameda: MYR Libros (Granada), Ediciones Labnar (Seville), El Mundo de los Minilibros (Madrid), Urbano Libros (Granada); Open Book (Grenada); Códice Bookstore ((Málaga)) and Isla Negra Bookstore ((Málaga)),

The established hours are from Monday to Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. On Sundays the fair will be open from 12:00 to 14:00 and from 19:00 to 23:00.

The book presentations, which will all be held at 8:00 p.m., will begin on Thursday, July 20, with 'History of pigments and dyes in art', by Juan Labrador, at the Hospital
Real de la Misericordia.
