The heat continues on the Costa del Sol: orange alert this Thursday [1661]

The heat will continue to be the protagonist this Thursday on the Western Costa del Sol, where the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) activates the orange alert, the intermediate level, after the red warning was in force yesterday. Thermometers will drop a bit, although the maximum could be around 40 degrees in some parts of the region.

The terral does not give up on the Malaga coast and, although this Thursday the temperatures are expected to drop a bit, they will continue to be at very high values, which will cause the weather warnings to be activated again.

From 1:00 p.m. an orange alert is announced, the intermediate level, due to high temperatures until 9:00 p.m., on the Costa del Sol and Guadalhorce.

The forecast indicates that it could reach 40 degrees in points of the region, a little less than this past Wednesday.

In Marbella, this past Wednesday the AEMET has measured a maximum of 31 degrees, although it is a temperature taken by the sea.

A little further inland, the thermometers have shot up to values close to 40 degrees in the municipality.

For Friday, the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) does not announce, for the moment, any alert and the temperatures will return to more normal values.
