Marbella will host the third Solidarity Walk to benefit AVOI [1673]

On April 20, Marbella will host the III Solidarityidarity Walk to benefit the Association of Children's Oncology Volunteers (AVOI), with the objective on this occasion of taking 70 children who pay attention to doing the Camino de Santiago. About 700 participants are expected to attend and all kinds of activities will take place.

The test will begin at 10:00 a.m. for the little ones and at 11:15 a.m. for adults, on Avenida del Mar, within the framework of a day that will also feature recreational activities for all attendees on Paseo de la Alameda.

The children's activities after the race will begin around 12:15 p.m., and will also feature the participation of Mimosín and magic performances, as well as the collaboration of María del Carmen Medina with a Disney music show.

In the afternoon, around 5:00 p.m., musical performances for adults will begin and, at the same time, there will be workshops for children.

Regarding the races that begin the day, the children's race will head towards Malaga and the adult race will go the other way, with a total of five kilometers in the second case.

The councilor for Sports, Lisandro Vieytes, has highlighted that “the combination of sport and solidarityidarity is perfect for a city like Marbella, which always commits itself to this type of solidarityidarity events, as is the case with the 'Pink Tide', whose starting point is also Avenida del Mar.”

Vieytes thanked Pepe Guerra for his involvement in organizing an initiative in which, in addition to the Cultural Veterans Sports Club and the Infinity Marbella.

"Other entities collaborate both from the sports area and in other areas, such as the
International Police Association IPA Marbella, which will show the children how it carries out its work," he added.

Among the activities there will also be a solidarityidarity bar and live performances by rock groups with 'Los Calvin' as the headliner, in addition to being one of the sponsors of the event.

Óscar Morillo and Álvaro Díaz, representatives of 'Los Calvin' and the Infinity Marbella club (in charge of the four children's races that will be held between the different categories) were also present at the presentation.

Likewise, Guerra, respectively, has highlighted “the great human team behind AVOI” and its daily entertainment care provided to children admitted to the Maternal and Child Hospital of Malaga.

In 2017, the first AVOI festival was organized on the Paseo de la Alameda.
